World cancer day globally observed on 4th February. The main aim of the day is to create awareness of cancer and its prevention. If you are wondering why it’s important to know about it? Why is world Cancer day on February 14?

After the World Cancer Conference for the New Millennium in Paris, France. This day marked to work on cancer patients prevention and treatment Since, 2000.

Today, World Health Organization(WHO) suggested some of the ways to reduce your cancer risk. They are listed below,

1. Do not smoke or use any type of tobacco. Make your home smoke free.

2. Breakfast feeding helps the mother to reduce cancer risks.

3. Avoid to much sun and use sun protection.

4. Be Physically active.

5. Limit Alcohol

6. Vaccinate your children against Hepatitis B and HPV.

7. Reduce indoor and outdoor air pollution.

8. Take Part in Organized Cancer Screening Programs.

9. Enjoy a healthy diet.
